Sport hike with high physical demands, with an elevation gain of 615 meters, with the highest point being 248m in altitude. The objective is to enjoy the pleasure of walking and physical activity to reach the top of the mountain and admire the landscape.
NOTE: Bring comfortable clothes and shoes for walking, backpack with water and snacks. The use of walking poles is recommended.
By car: Arriving in the city of Lagos, at the roundabout of the Municipal Stadium, go towards Bensafrim. When leaving Portelas, take the EM 531 on the left, in the direction of Barão de São João, passing through the Monte Judeu site. Always follow ahead, in the direction of Barão de S. João. After entering the village of Barão de São João you should follow the signs that indicate the National Forest. When going up Estrada da Mata, after passing a tight curve, you will find a road on the side left with ecopoints and containers at the beginning of the street, it will be the meeting point there.
