The greatest freedom is being who you feel you are.

Community.

Inspired by the unique community of Barao de São João, I titled my painting/installation - community. The intertwined colors, like in a tapestry, show a complete picture of an open composition. The multiculturalism of this place also gives a full picture of how many different cultures, traditions and skills can interact together, building a healthy, free community that enriches and complements Portuguese culture.
