In 2010, Urbano started practicing Tai Chi and QiGong with the Instructor Paula Gomes in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. In the summer of 2012 he came to Praia da Luz in Lagos, beginning the teaching of sailing and windsurfing, in parallel with the practice of Qigong and Tai Chi. In 2015, he started sharing Tai Chi and Qigong classes in Praia da Luz at the end of the day, through advertising at the nearest cafes. In 2016 he became a reflexology therapist and by the end of 2016 he started giving Tai Chi and Qigong classes in Lagos, at the Inlight Yoga and Therapies Center and the Luz dawn Center. In 2017, he became a professional massage therapist and began the Tai Chi and QiGong Instructor course in Lisbon. He participated as an instructor of Tai Chi and QiGong in different events such as the Quinta da Lama in Odiáxere, Lagos or Casa da Cultura in Santa Cruz, Primary School of Porto da Cruz on Madeira Island. He also developed a cooperation with the Home of the Elderly in the Santa Casa da Misericórdia, in Funchal, in the support and movement of the elderly. In April 2018, he participated in the International Course for Instructors in YongNian, China, with the 6th generation of Yang Tai Chi, Master James Fu Qing Quan. It began with Tai Chi classes on Saturdays in the gardens and with other instructors in the celebration of Full Moon Tai Chi and QiGong in Lagos. Developed activities with children from 4 to 12 years old, celebrating the day of the environment. Participated in the festival Andanças, in Castelo de Vide (1 week of therapies and dance festival) where he performed 2 Tai Chi classes for 100 people. Participated in the mobility week, on September 22, 2018, with Tai Chi class for the population, through collaboration with the Lagos town hall.
